Kim Gottschall opened her new purse store at www.HouseOfPurses.com because of her adoration for handbags. "I love purses, so I put all of my enthusiasm into this," she explains. "I check on the quality, and I make sure I'm selling things that I'd like to buy myself."

After 2 years of working on the site, the selection has reached over 500 items, and Kim's merchandise is available for sale. "I carry very good quality items, and I have wonderful customer service. I get back with people almost immediately," she explains. "I don't try and carry anything that's overpriced -- I'm not one to go spend $200 on a purse. I try to carry all of the quality items that are reasonably priced to make it affordable, so people can actually enjoy their purchase."

I check on the quality, and I make sure I'm selling things that I'd like to buy myself.
Kim has also opened www.HouseOfPurses.net, a blog where she can discuss her products with her customers. "I want my customers to know that I'll bend over backwards -- it means a lot to me for them to come back and tell me that they love their purse. I try to do my best on my customer service; I'm very determined," explains Kim.

Future plans for the store are already in motion. "I update my products every week -- everybody likes different styles, so I usually get anywhere from 10 to 15 new products on my site each week," she explains. "We will always stay in today's fashion. I'll focus on what's popular at this time of year."
